How It Works

We use a custom professional camera lens that captures a 360 degree view with just one press of the shutter button! This saves time compared with the lengthy process of taking multiple images and photo stitching.

This is important if you want the final image to be devoid of variances. When taking multiple shots to stitch together, there are often differences in the construction of the various images, which takes a considerable amount of time in post development production to remedy - Photoshop; the most problematical being ambient light. What happens if suddenly the light source changes on shot 3 i.e. the sun goes behind a cloud and the ambient light in that shot is now different to the rest - this makes for a inconsistent final image and detracts from the overall viewing experience. No such problems exist with our technology! With our lens we capture an entire panorama (115 x 360 degree field of view) in one go.

Our tours have been designed to be high quality, cost effective and quicker to produce than many systems out there. The time saved in production is considerable and easily translate into financial savings for both us and ultimately you - our customers.

The camera is programmed to take 3 shots of the same scene in quick succession - each taken at different exposures. The captured images are doughnut shaped.

Our sophisticated software program then automatically converts the images into a tour including a High Dynamic Range (HDR) blending process to deliver the best image ...without compromise.

The Perfect Panoramic Tour?

Well nothing is ever truly 100% perfect. However we always use HDR photography to make sure our tours are the best they can be for you, your customers and our own high standards.

HDR - How does it work?

A panoramic tour scene will more often than not be shot from the interior of a building where there will be a mix of varying light sources - bright sunlight from windows - overhead and low level artificial lighting plus areas of shade and dark. This is a complicated lighting mix for any modern digital camera to deal with.
This means the camera is going to have problems picking up detail in the darker areas as well as brightly lit areas. This is why HDR is important in creating a realistic and natural looking panoramic image.
The process blends the 3 varying exposed shots, to produce a single image which displays greater details in the highlights and shadows, therefore increasing the tonal range without altering the true picture.

Unlike other tour providers all our tours are produced using HDR enhancements.
Our tours now include the very latest HTML5 coding which means they can also be viewed on mobile devices with touch screen technology such as the iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices - allowing your customers access to your tours on the go!
And as a further benefit our tours are available to view as a 'Full Screen' option on desktops.
